OK, since I can get no money for my S2000 sampler, I decided to buy a PowerBook G3 so I can access it by SCSI and with my old serial MIDI interface. $150 on eBay, and I will be able to run editors for the S2k and the FS1r which Yamaha doesn't support anymore either. I have also snagged Virtual PC and am planning to get MIDI to work through them, just in case the Windows FS1r editor is nicer than the Mac one. The Akai S2k editor is the same on Windows, and the shareware S2k editor only works over SCSI. I don't think a PowerBook G3 can handle Virtual PC, so I'll just let that one lie.
