I just got into work. I was going to go to the free bike breakfast thing in Government Center, but I don't feel like riding much after seeing a guy crumpled in the middle of Mass Ave near Central Square.

I rode in from Central Square after dropping off my ZipCar. Priuses are neat.

I rode home from Cambridge last night after the Signal, etc. show. Unfortunately, I had to leave early in order to sleep sufficiently for today, even though it's a half day. I actually didn't mind being at Middlesex too much this time, surprisingly.

I decided to skip the Apple Store after speaking to a friend and learning of lines that had started at 8AM. I don't need a T-shirt that bad! Instead I went to CBC before the Raster-Noton show with her and some other former coworkers. I love dirt. Apparently they have started handing out retention bonuses based entirely on sales targets and some opaque measurement of that employee's value to the company. One thing Nokia gets really right is basing bonuses based on personal objectives upon which you have direct impact and agreement.

Saturday afternoon we went on a bike ride into the Lynn Woods for the first time since moving here! Our bikes are in pretty good shape considering their long dormant winter. I pumped up the tires and tweaked the derailleurs a bit and everything was good. m0xiee hadn't been on a bike at all since we moved, so we took it slow. Lynn Woods is great! Now that it's warm again we're going to be going more often. Prepare to be invited along!

It's been two years since I came up with my tattoo idea, and last night I had a dream about it. I think that says it's time to get the damn thing done. I need to first take a picture of my back so I can figure out what size to make it, then draw it on paper, and then I need to find the right place to do the work. I don't have any idea who to go to :(
